What Is Holistic Dentistry?
As a holistic dentist, Dr. Craig Sommer recognizes the balance and relationship between the health of your mouth with the health of the rest of your body. With our integrative, homeopathic approach, we use mercury-free, biocompatible dental filling materials. We also safely remove toxic metals like mercury using specialized oral treatment protocols. In addition, we place early emphasis on organic immune system support during oral care and use homeopathic, microbiological control of gum infections. We believe our holistic dental care can positively influence both the lifespan and the quality of life for our patients.
Do You Take My Dental Insurance?
We work with most insurance plans as an out-of-network provider. Our staff can help you better understand your benefits and can file claims for you as a courtesy. We accept many other forms of payment, including cash, checks, credit cards, and CareCredit financing.
Do You Offer Orthodontics for Adults?
Whether you’re an adult with teeth that moved out of place after orthodontic treatment earlier in your life or you’ve lived with crooked teeth all your life, Invisalign is likely a great option for you. You’ll wear a series of nearly invisible plastic aligners instead of metal braces. The aligners gently move your teeth into the proper position, usually in less time than braces. You can remove the aligners for meals, so you can eat whatever you’d like. Removable aligners also make it easy to brush and floss.
Can You Relieve My Dental Fear?
We have lots of experience working with fearful patients. We use an intraoral camera to show you what is going on inside your mouth and to clearly explain all your treatment options to you. We’ll also take the time to answer all your questions. This knowledge makes most people more comfortable in our chair. If you’re nervous about a procedure or concerned about discomfort, we can administer laughing gas to help you relax.
